ID-Reader

Krempien+Petersen uses ID readers of Cognex, which are available as stationary (In-Sight) or as portable readers (DataMan). Depending upon assigned system the devices for code reading or code verification are used.

For stationary use the Cognex In-Sight ID readers are used, which offers a code read achievement which was not available before. The In-Sight systems combine camera, processor, ID reader, and multiple communication interfaces in a compact housing, which can be used also in harsh industrial environments. The Cognex In-Sight systems are the most versatile and at present most resistant ID reader available on the market. Through the extensive expansion options and robust tools ID code is possible correctly readable even at a distance of several meters, what is particularly required by the automotive industry.

In order to ensure a stable and reliable reading or decoding of 1D and 2D codes even under difficult conditions the ID readers are equipped with the IDMax software, which is based on the patented PatMax® technology. IDMax guarantees the industry's most reliable reading. It is also possible to decode seemingly illegible codes with IDMax yet. The In-Sight camera systems are also available in a stainless steel housing with the enclosure IP67.

For the portable field different system are available for a variety of tasks. The award-winning IDMax and IDQuick-technology is also used here. The DataMan systems have a robust and lightweight design, a laser-positioning assistance and are depending upon system also ESD safe. Readers are available for the most different application situations.

The DataMan 750 is the ideal choice when reading 1D and 2D codes in the electronics and semiconductor industry, because it has a ESD protection housing. The readers of the series 7500 represent the industry standard in reading and verifying Direct Part Mark (DPM) codes. These devices are also available in a wireless version.
